The Finance and Outreach Committee is responsible for some of the most fundamental club operations. Members raise club funds and allocate them accordingly. They are also responsible for connecting the club with other organizations, people, and communities to broaden our reach and bring in incredible individuals that can share insights with us. Overall, the Finance and Outreach Committee enables us to host a myriad of events, from guest speakers, socials, to networking sessions.
The Marketing Committee focuses on spreading the word about the society's events and drawing in new members. They use creative strategies to make sure students across campus know about the society and what it offers, and their work is key in growing the society's community and keeping it active as the largest economics club on campus. Key components of the committee include the creation of flyers to spread awareness about speaker events and making new merchandise for the society!
The Almanac Committee is in charge of compiling, editing, and publishing UES's Economics Almanac. One of Penn's first economics magazines, the Almanac aims to provide interesting insight to the world of economics: current events, opinion pieces, and more. A new issue comes out once a semester.
